Hi Bryan,
Yeah. I expected him to be out there swinging
a little bit more. On the other hand, BushCo is sorta self-destructing
with the 9/11 hearings. Maybe Kerry figures he can have his cake
and eat it too this way. Somehow, I think the Democratic/Progressive
base is way more energized than the conservative base.
I work in a largely Republican environment, and lots of folks
are veryvery critical of this administration and the way they
are handling themselves. I don't know if they'll go so far as
to vote for Kerry, but I think more than a few of them might
just sit this one out.

Hey folks,
I felt embarrased for President Bush during
his new conference. I literally had to turn and walk away as
I could not handle the personal questions they were posing him
and how utterally unprepared he was. I was more than a little
shocked at his demeanor. I found my self also not liking how
the questioners were staying on one theme regarding 'do you need
to apologize, and can you admit any mistake. It was torture for
me to watch him as he was trying to not say the obvious that
'yes, I can apolize and yes of course I do make mistakes'. Excruciating.
I never like seeing this kind of dogging of people.
One thing I am grateful for is that he continued
to give confidance to the troops while they find themselves in
difficult terrain. Here in Los Angeles, in the Sunday paper,
there was an article about how the military personel are rethinking
their support of the President. As they watch the young men die,
and question why they went to war in the first place, I have
to say I feel heartened that this may not be a strong voting
block for him. It would make perfect sense for me that the wives
would be like 'hell no he won't go if I have anything to say
about it'.
I didn't see the Kerry interview or what you
are all talking about. However I think it is real important for
him to pull middle ground right now. It was reported in the paper
he said that he does not have all the facts in front of him right
now and events are moving quickly. I think it is hard to speak
on this issue while soldiers are in the midst of a street battle.
Once things calm down in the next few weeks I think it will be
a different story. Adn I think he has got to win over those who
support Bush on the war but are not real happy with the way they
are not working and have no health insurance for their families.
We'll see. And I as well am getting the whole idea that Republicans
are realizing the 'nation building' essence to this mission.
Bush spoke tonight over and over again about the need to make
freedom in the world. He does it through war where others sought
to do it through working with different countries. But then again
I am a Clinton fan and how he handled many hot spots of the world
while he was in office. Things felt more hopeful. With Bush it
feels more back to the same old same ol: sending another mans
sons off to war.
Sincerely,
Dottie

Bryan,
True and tragic observation. It is the errors
of omission which defer, like buying on credit, future karmic
payments. The democratic candidate seems possessed of cold feet,
and stalls before the gates of the stars, against which his tiny
lights which busy themselves in unmajestic carping, sniping and
blaming the dark, hold no candles.
Yes, it is as though Kerry had tacitly consented
to trade off ideality for strategy, and so is, in the last analysis,
ferocious backstage telltale voice of Skull and Crossbones in
evidence, out to pirate dialogue for criticism. Too intimidated
to dare manifest the JFL or MLK voice of the once and future
America, to lift up the consciousness of millions of people with
introduction of streams of living, open-ended thought to capable
of challenging, thawing, elevating and dissolving the decadence
of the status quo, the SUV general anaesthesia at large upon
the land with epic, too tired to author paradigm-shifting impulses
capable addressing what is truly necessary to implementing transformative
spiritual principles upon which any cultural, social and economic
healing of the world alone can alone be scaffolded, sources Campaign,
thought optional. And sells wine, drunkard's promises, no courage
to present, to muscle out the real and inescapable liabilities,
to create a necessary collective dramatic tension which spans
a menacing gulf between real and ideal, that defines and presents
the sphere of labor and sacrifice and responsibility required
to move from the myopic oblivion of bread alone to a real world
view which embraces "not-by-bread-alone." He has a
change to experience Christ's temptation, and to pass through
the eye of the needle, yet realizes not the stakes..................
In another sense, one might way that Kerry
approaches his candidacy as a performance which is going to be
rated according to applause, rather than a challenge to present
to America a mythically-resonating strum of inspired invitation
to awaken it to a true and useful destiny, which is to champion
the development of a turf-free world in which Nationalism and
Technocracy, the true twin hidden-agenda causes of terrorism
in the world today emerge into permanent and irreversibly graphic
common consciousness as recognized sources of tyranny and impediments
to realizing the oneness of humanity upon which alone all economic
challenges can alone be effectively addressed............
His words do charm, yet as to the nobility
and the scope of his intention, there seems little Prince present,
but rather the Superstar, another vampire, acting as his frail
power of attorney....

Harvey

I like Kerry. The more I read this young mans
bio and the more I see the dirt the right is trying to throw
at him I am more convinced he is the right man for our times.
He has come full circle it seems to me.
We have Bush and company getting the propaganda
going about how his military service is suspect. I guess he should
have died and then he would be considered a hero and not a threat
to their overzealous want to take over the world with their particular
brand of ignorance.
Bush and company are real good with sending
the peasents off to war, as in other mens sons, but when it comes
to their own we keep them locked up in a national guard safe
zone. Pretty disgusting to actually thing the boys who played
it safe like Cheney and Bush can actually try to denigrate McCain
and Kerry. And the world just falls into the pit of ignorance
about what is noble and what is hogwash.
Kerry as a young man started with great ideas.
He did not keep himself safe from the war zone and actually volunteered
his services for his country. Now, because he 'only' suffered
shrapnel his stars do not mean anything heroic. It's only shrapnel.
Oh, okay so because he did not come back missing a limb or blind
he actually is lesser than those that did. What ignorance.
Kerry may have been taken off the course of
his original intent about service and got caught in the daily
stupidity of our leaders in the senate and house, but that doesn't
mean he can not waken up to what is needed at this time. This
country can not take another four years of Bush/Cheney. It can
not.
He is a man perfect for this time, he is needed
for our soldiers and for the little everyday man trying to hold
onto any shred of hope in the Universe. Bush and Cheney snuff
it out and Kerry is the right man, hopefully with Edwards that
can really help righten the ship for the future. I think he will
fill his cabinet out with visionaries of peace for all of us
who inhabit this planet Earth.
It's funny to hear people say he is being
negative when the negative publicity and stupidity put out by
the right show the thinking capacity of ten year olds and have
to be answered.
I wish the American people will wake up before
we have to continue with another four years of saying one thing
and doing another right under our noses.

How shall I all this unkempt
thought arrange, half crypt, half flight
Sleep is strange, she will follow you if you so invite
soon she visits in twisting fire, now she lurks in swoon of well
where she overtakes you never tell
Dad warned me
'Tis the blessing of a spell to thrill -
As in, Ascends unbridled to all far islands and outposts
and Mercurial as a Thrive of Summer,
plants its crown of uncanny law
upon the folklore of some nameless land
Yet spells also suffer reverses
Then shudder when you say
All Spell is Trembling Pearl, from core to canopy,
its floor, its face, whether fiercely-bricked with drums of will,
or softly bathed in molton wish
'tis all chameleon-wove; luminous fabric, robed in living charade
Withstand all this if you can so will,
or sweetly drown in wine of dream, yet both the same seem.
Dear Dottie,
It is said that courage takes off the blindfold.
Therefore Kerry, like McCain, of fearless hunch, is, by that
reckoning commendable, hope-friendly, awesomely admirable, which
is to say, potentially possessed of Michael's sword, and since
the greater part of the gift of intuition lies iceberg'd underneath
sea-surface, afloat in the willingness, in the eager intent to
behold, he knows the latitude and longitude, the whereabouts
of a good tomorrow.
I would like to see him, like Arthur does
Excalibur, actually draw the sword from the stone in which it
is sheathed, and so come to be able to offer "Food for Imagination",
to sire manna to the human race. For it is clear that the way
out of Jesiah Ben Aharon's marvelous, utterly ineradicable depiction
of the world situation of impending "American Empire"
can never be cheerled through the manifestation of military-directed
forces of Will, attempting to "Control" Terrorism,
but through utterly Dissolving the paranoid elitist prejudice
that goes unchallenged, under whose authorized, venerated, ongoing
group-soul hypnosis it continues to be regarded as OK to continue
to author no spiritual impulse to address why 20% of the people
utilize 80% of the world's resources.
On the heart level, and experienced by the
other 80% of the world, it is necessary at this time in human
history to directly connect the root causes of terrorism with
abysmal repression of what Michaelic awareness intends to rise
irreversibly into conscious clarity from across the threshold.
We are visualizing here an inner reckoning of the spiritual world's
unconscionable moral outrage of the ongoing disparity between
rich and poor, and the aloof, commanding role that manipulation,
the wholly dispassionate, flameless and therefore wholly unacknowledged
Ahrimanic Genre of Terrorism plays in perpetuating Chaos and
Oppression in the world today.
But how to dare - and daring is indivorcable
from the kindling - how to author, to sire spiritual solutions
to economic Gourdian Knots? Our Lady of the Lake whispers: "Before
sourcing a game-plan, try Unrehearsed Courage, to dislodge Excalibur
from the stone". This is the gesture one needs to glove
into the profile of a deed, medreams above, methinks below, and
'twixt these mannalike where Love to marry must flow, blossoms
forth 'Me_Imagines. No courage is inherited, but authored, is
not a birthright, but rather ever freshly birthed. And of the
whereabouts of its arising, the inviolable sanctuary, the upstream
temple, the marrow of one's 'interior Sherwood Forest' one has
spoken enough. Then forgive our time travel.
And so I say, realizing words these days on
the scales of justice do all too lightly weigh, and owing to
the folly of me, far too often clay-composed, too toothless and
dentless are, to mirror a star, and so but frail caricatures
of what they, children of the Logos once were, amount to but
being deeds on credit, and shyly pencilled at that, and, like
political promise, indeed fall easy prey to thievery, to the
oblivious, shameless feather-stroked hype-artist's caress of
but an eraser, nonetheless dare say this: Kerry "needs"
to be Robin Hood, and steal away men's blindfolds, and so summon
the world to battle with an unpopular, inconvenient vision of
humanity in which the role of rich and poor are defined by inspired
and perilous rather than practical, well-perfumed approaches.
Before there be national policy let there be moral presence.
If I be guilty, then let my criticism, guileless,
born traceless of any greyscale disenchanted cynicism whatever,
let what might be construed as our criticism of Kerry's candidacy
lie never in any indictment of his character, which seems benevolent
and trustworthy, aeons more resonant to mandates of optimism
and optimism's fair weather than the Machivellian/Orwellian machinations
of the densely-umbilicled, angularly torque'd puppetry of Bushmaster,
the fanged predatory invective of WereWolfowitz, the efficient
dayglow-veneered smile of Condoleeza the Sheik, Condoleeza the
Svelte, radiant Queen of Sheba, who bears a naive, sinister look
and, lest we forget the Vaderesque Absentee VP, his clandestine,
well-menaced arteries pocked and barbed with jutting islands
of stainless steel stints embedded in the remnants which serve
him in lieu of a heart, he who would survive no escape from either
a physical or moral metal detector. As Isaac Bashevis Singer
once said "Life is God's tale, so let him write it!"
Rather, it is that Kerry has a chance to go
for the vertical top-line, and revoice America, connecting it
to a glorious and praiseworthy destiny as the de-facto advocate
of the oneness of humanity and a champion of the reawakening
of international dialogue, recasting it in the role of a country
which can chair a world summit conference in which the needs
of people can be reprioritized, lifted, elevated, and come to
be nobly regarded as forever transcending the needs of governments
and corporations. It is this simple, like the glance of a Sunhero,
and takes 30 seconds to say................
Steiner mentions, and especially in his Waldorf
training, that whatever body of the child the one wishes to influence,
the teacher must emanate such tutoring magnetism, such piercing
charisma, such welcoming invitation, authoring it from one body
above the one to be transformed. The etheric to work into the
molecules of the physical, the volatile astral currents to impress,
like the seal of a king upon wax, again, like pulsing rivers
of living echo surrounding every tree and face and building of
every Van Gogh painting to thrill its feelings into the vitality
and attitudes and talents of etheric. Above this, the centering
poise and spacious majesty of the I-Am to mentor, to ground,
to bestow balance to cleanse the Astral body, and in mystery,
like dark bright indigo in holy almost voiceless cheer, the elusive,
still embryonic Manas, the muselike fixin's of the life on future
Jupiter, to transfigure, revelationlike, piercing Shakespeare-like
the cocoon of the I_AM with cosmic rush and soar and kneel...............
Phenomenological, self-evidenced, uncatalogued,
non-hand-me-down, one of the privileges reserved for who converses,
risks, leaves his small island, and unmooring consents on faith's
leap, to continue the riverrun past Eve and Adams.
Manas, Manna, Food for Imagination in this lifelong Sinai's mortal
desert, an unidentified bathe of virtue, the enpassant Leaven
left behind in the Egypt of Slavery. And so we rejoice to remind,
that Albert Einstein knowing this and that to dyslexically paraphrase,
in the loose steering of allegory, (and we quoting from the original
Goethean Conversational Aramaic....... :).......) 'an Image is
worth a thousand concepts: Imagination "therefore"....
: )..., more important than knowledge, advises us well. Built
into Manna, into imaginative spark, behold the swerve of Michael's
sword, bravery incarnate, its trump is that it is Altogether
Unrealistic, has no fear of martyrdom or redicule, bold in the
Lion's Den of risk, and risking, fears not even for but an iota's
hesitation to challenge, to impale, to un-pale complacency. Here
is where, when you're reading fairy tales to your child, you
will find thrill, discover unrude awakening, Prince Charming,
brandishing virgin gleam over the dawn landscapes of the Sleeping
Princess Humanity to dissolve the midnight stupor of an entranced
country. What interferes most, what traumatizes most effectively
the stalwart advocates of political processes, dislodging them
from their Business-As-Usual religions, which they, embarassed
to use the term religion, redefine as careers of arid and competitive
boast statistically-spiced with poles and brag, is something
as unpossessing as wonder, which is camphor to their fever......Hovering
wonder which whispers, stopping all the traffic as effortlessly
as "We are such things as dreams are made on, and our little
lives are rounded with a sleep." And un-heavy-hands us of
all craving and the far-fetched lunacy of our holdings. Gaze
up ahead, O Camel-backed one: The eye of the needle!
So, Dottie, Magdelena incarnate,
you'll have to forgive my ground-swell of chutzpah, my Russian-Jewish
Middle-Eastern spike of chutzpah, ("Proud to feel guilty!")
for blaming someone with noble aspirations for failing to offer
medicine from the Spiritual-Cultural sphere to heal illness caused
by a lack of collective vision of how heart-consciousness and
the strength of heart, which is love, the Midway-Christ-Within
which karmically and chakrically coordinates Wisdom above and
Will below ALONE can sire a useful strategy which can meet and
confront and triumph over, rather than by avoid and flee the
fire-breathe-dragons of the day. Me dreams, or so it somewhat
seems, to have all but forgotton the fragrant, buoyant, restless
energy of the 60's most faraway, which is to softly say, what
Snow White looked like before she was silenced quite, strummed
mute, me_thinks by thoughts of fairest paradise with but a single
Apple's bite................
Returning to earth "as if" from
across the Threshold, : ),
pauses.................
There is no question that Kerry has the latent ability to rise
with surprise above the bland, vocal, spiritually-sterile and
hoarse recipes of mere political expediency, to connect initiatives
of the election, with the destiny harbored by the Time-Spirit
for humanity. Standing still, reverent with coma, standing stale
at the flag, All America weeps, perhaps whispering, perhaps screaming
"Under God", professing without practicing the theoretical
existence of a moral order, a moral sovereignty, and so keeps
upon perpetuating the error of omission Steiner implied when
he spoke ........"Christ is not (we add 'merely') a world
teacher, but rather a world Doer..........
And so it goes that the ghost of most favored
nations past in recent memory, haunted with amnesia and remembering
not, desktop publishes anew fresh sorry ripples that reincarnate
once devoutly-inscribed, bat-black-inked indulgences of the reverently-practiced,
papally-perked scribes of the middle ages, begetting from off
her laser-printers best-seller new editions of "Get out
of Jail Free" cards. What strange wine and wafer this.
Vibrant Athens, Ancient Athena, draw near,
monopolize not your wisdom, carbonite froze in yesteryear. As
we say where art thou?, once again debut to find Golgotha here.
The unexamined life, like a flair-up of ADD-ecstasy in flooring
the accelerator on one's Hummer on the way to a no-waiting sojourn
to the fast-food pit-stop, is certainly much more convenient,
less silent, less holy than Socrate's bare-bones reflection.
Remember, No payments till Kama Loka. Till then, failing to Remember,
remain dismembered, mute, out of grace, detained in exile. Before
there was Guantanamo Bay, there is Kama Loka.

Dearest Harvey, I love you forever:)
We must be the wind beneath his wings for
his spirit will allow it.
Bush is set in stone and is grounded with
no possibility of flight.
Let's help him author the groundswell of hope
that is waiting in the docks as we speak. Let's send him the
Michaelic courage that will see him to the farthest reaches of
the earth with the message of hope. Let the rivers sing and the
birds rejoice that we have one who will reach deep within himself
and overcome the years of self indulgence of petty natures.
The Catholic church is rearing its ugly head
to show that 'it' instead of God are in charge here on Earth.
He will be the uniter in a way that Mr. Clinton could not. This
man and his bravery in Vietnam and the ensuing years where he
fought to bring home our men from a misbegotten evil land grab
formulated by our politicians and the underground swell of the
western brotherhoods, still speaks to my heart as the same principle
deeds sown by anihilating the Native Americans. And I am thankful
there were men such as Kerry who stood come hell or highwater
for the truth as he knew it to be from first hand experience.
I am indebted to him for his bravery in speaking out and standing
up when it was not convenient to do so given his birth sake and
education.
He shall be reminded in these days of Mr.
Kennedy and what they tried to accomplish as men of God. Yes,
they weren't perfect, but they were perfect enough to bring about
the beginngs of equality with their brother Martin. And, yes,
Martin was their brother in every sense.
It was these times that brought me to incarnate:
freedom for all mankind. And we will not allow Mr. Bush and company
to take us back to a time of what I will name as the captivity
of the poor people. For this is truly what Bush and company are
about: to make men as slaves to their particular wants in the
world. That is why they are so willing to sacrifice them without
a seconds reflection. And this is what is so sad. Today I saw
a photo of some soldier praying outside of Fallouja. Oh my goodeness,
my heart is in a state of prayer with them through today and
tomorrow and always as they fight the battle they have signed
up for. But the men in charge are not forgiven, for they did
not care about anyone else but their own selfish vision of imperialism.
One must just slow down for one second to
allow a little self reflection and the heart ache that appears
is all so very real. And Bush must be removed for the healing
to begin and hope to be renewed. There was another way yet he
could not see it nor did he want it. And so we will pay a price
as a humanity. No one shall escape the charge.
Lets send him the heart, Harvey, and the courage
to believe he can move mountains. He shall need us as the Catholic
church moves to keep the masses asleep.
Love to you always,
Dottie

Agreed, Dottie!
The intent's already voiced, one has to toptoe
lightly as a walk on water when one imagines this, but who has
thought the thought has committed the deed. For I imagine that,
by way of visualizing the shift in men from theoretical to actual
Christianity, the Logos is eminently capable of empowering, or
at least assisting men, the obvious keepers of the Dragon's Teeth,
to clothe the Word, descending it into acts............
Pause to breathe!
Give the hierarchies a moment to gather something powerful enough
to influence, yet modest enough to sneak in under the radar.
But for the fact that world is so glory-starved,
and by such craving, has lost so much innocence which sources
trust, tis not nearly easy a task as first seems, for Lucifer
is still out there, like a Southeby's auctioneer, selling incendiary
blowtorches, pricing out enchantment and rapture to the highest
bidder.
I do think that we might be able to convince
Kerry to interview abroad with the BBC, and perhaps also with
Al-Jeezira, provided we tutor him in how the wisdom of Christianity
and Islam is sure and certain common ground to source understanding
(Understanding, an intellectually untraumatic, de-emotionally-anaesthetized
foreshadowing of forgiveness, one step at a time).
Picture a series of interviews, first, he
presents himself as a free-spirit seeking a forum where dialogue
and the ongoing spontaneous interaction with world-leaders in
unconventional ways as to how to actually heal the world issues
could take place, it would be possible to take him out of American
House-Arrest, and that term could be used by a foreign announcer,
creating a mandala where where the World Community, the American
People, and the American Government could become the apex's of
a triangle. Will the real lovers, please identify themselves
to world scrutiny.
Then other interviews, from Canada, India,
New Zealand, Austrailia, Bejing, where Kerry meets with intellectual
and cultural leaders. Bill Moyers, Gorbachev, Solzhenytzen, and
the Dalai Lama, and Michael Moore hosted by Holderlin of Georgia,
or the great (former) chancellor of the Palestinean University,
as well as with Ben Aharon.
The freeing up of the format of conversation
from the myopia of the American media will betray substantial
differences in permissiveness for the expression of truth, and
will reveal to tens of millions of Americans how they are being
enslaved.
This would be wonderful, and would create
a higher, more mature octave of conversation than the 60's, for
all those who remember the Alamo of the VietNam war, are now
pretty close to their Saturn cycles, and UnEuphoric Death will
strip away the immaturity of political correctness, and evasive
manuvuers, opening the way for a coalition of young and old.............
If done from abroad, then the sheer contraband
of taboo'd conversational format would create incredible press.
Bush, of course, doesn't possess puppet strings long enough to
go transAtlantic....... :), and his on a good day two-digit IQ
and his Henchmen's Moral Vacuity, asked to source honest answers,
would never be able to hold up to standards of human integrity...
Perhaps we could even convince Ted Koppel
to resign from ABC in order to host these weighty interviews
from Merry Old England and other civilizations capitals, prefacing
them with the assumption that dialogue is taboo in America, and
that contrary to the wishes of the current administration, Americans
have the God-Within-Given right to exercise thought and courage
in the democratic processes.
Boxless, out of the box and into the Lion's-Den
thinking. Thus while the Bush administration chisels its hopeless
cunieform policies and dogmas in thick redneck granite, little
children fingerpaint the truth. Remember, that if Humanity is
One, we have a huge problem on our hands, that in the absence
of foreigners, there can be no such thing as "Foreign Policy",
and the populations to be crucified in the cross-hairs of the
smug scope of target markets, or simply "Prey", turn
back into people, teachers, sprits created by a God of Love.
All just starters, the sketches, the brainstorms,
the metaphysical equivalent of self-striking matches, announcing
engagements of an impending alchemical marraige between the deeds
of men and the intent of the Christ.
And so rejoice to fear that
Soon we'll all be left standing on,
what.......we're.........standing........for!
:)
Warm regards,
Harvey

And this will give him permission to remember
what it was so long ago that sparked him into action on behalf
of his nation and his brotherhood.
What do you think?

YES. I liked that best of Yoko Ono.
"Music is the one incorporeal entrance
into the higher world of knowledge which comprehends mankind,
but mankind cannot comprehend."

(...)tis not nearly easy a task as first
seems, for Lucifer is still out there, like a Southeby's auctioneer,
selling incendiary blowtorches, pricing out enchantment and rapture
to the highest bidder.
I would like to say 'Lucifers fallen shadow
is still out there. The higher Lucifer has inspired many great
men to a cause on behalf of mankind in line with the spiritual
hopes for our universe.
What do you think of a fallen shadow, the
remnents of the greatness left behind to be filled by unsuspecting
men when their minds are left to drift and settle on vain glory?
Dottie , and now to the rest:)

Dearest Harvey, if we hold Kerry to what we
would like him to do he shall fail to gain the presidency. The
state of fear and ignorance are at an all time high in our country.
If he dared to speak on Al Jazera he would be flamed instantly
by the right as a traitory beholden to terrorists. We unfortunately
are a media consumerism driven nation that has no thinking capacity
of its own at the present moment. We have been snuffed out by
the smoke and mirrors of this administration. Well, actually
its been heading this way ever since Reagan as far as I have
been aware. He speaks with a smile and then did whatever he wanted
just as Bush and complany are doing right now.
Can you author a piece that speaks to his
heart and ours as well that helps us to remember what it is that
we came here for? We shall reawaken him to the heart force for
good.
Go Kerry:)

THE VILLAGE VOICE
JOHN KERRY MUST GO
by James Ridgeway
Note to Democrats: it's not
too late to draft someoneanyoneelse
With the air gushing out of
John Kerry's balloon, it may be only a matter of time until political
insiders in Washington face the dread reality that the junior
senator from Massachusetts doesn't have what it takes to win
and has got to go.
As arrogant and out of it
as the Democratic political establishment is, even these pols
know the party's got to have someone to run against George Bush...

Who would you and the other listmates suggest as a better option
than Kerry as the democratic candidate? Just curious. I am not
even an American citizen - although I'm currently living in the
US - so I don't vote.

No other. John Kerry all the way. He's gonna
shake those nuts out of the house. And in a big way.
