Hello Jan,
Absolutely - perhaps you are responding to
part of the serendipity WTC page about the scripting of the event.
You know, the lines between movie (TV, etc) and reality are becoming
really blurred. I have heard in the popular media that when we
visualize something (like exercising or positive imaging) that
our "brains" don't make a distinction between what
we have actually experienced and what we visualize. To our nerve/
sense system it doesn't matter. Our bodies supposedly process
the experience through the muscular and other systems of the
body the same either way. I think that's what people talk about
in terms of the visualization popular among atheletes who are
trained to go over their race or other sport again and again
in their mind. This is supposed to have a similar if not the
same effect as actually running the race would have.
So, haven't we become almost totally "programmed"
to believe anything we see in the media? Sure, people say "Oh,
I know that's just a movie," but don't those words sound
hollow, sometimes?
Remember the "Dear Virginia, there really
is a Santa Claus" story? Yes, it is moving and heartfelt,
but there is a little something in it that many people don't
recognize. The little girl supposedly wrote to the newspaper
(the Sun?) asking if there really was a Santa Claus, because
people around her said that if you saw it in the Sun (newspaper)
it must be true. This before TV, obviously. Everyone loves the
story that followed, but no one tried to disillusion the child
about the idea that if something is in the paper, it must be
true. Very few people question the things they see on TV. They
figure, if it is on TV, it must be true. I think that even, psychologically
speaking, the "fiction" on tv, whether sitcoms or dramas
is taken as "true", too. So why should the fact that
the whole WTC event coverage, the dialogues, the "explanations"
NOT be taken as true? They were on TV . WE ALL SAW IT HAPPEN!!!
But do we KNOW what we SAW????
It has gotten to the point where the film
industry can actually tell the truth about themselves and we
all take it like, oh, isn't that cute? For example
"Wag the Dog." They were TELLING
us what was going on and we all laughed. Maybe if they used a
different name for the title, it wouldn't have sounded so funny.
And of course, if anyone tries to say "Hey,
that's not true! That's not what is really happening." everyone
just laughs and mocks him or her for a fool.
Have you read "The War Prayer" by
Mark Twain? Have you read "Letters from the Earth"
by Mark Twain? He wouldn't allow the "letters" to be
published until after his death.
"This book will never be published...
in fact, it couldn't be, because it would be a felony."
.Mark Twain to a friend in 1909. In fact, they were not published
(in entirety) until 1962.
The first time I read the War Prayer - around
the late 70s, I think, I was absolutely devastated. If I can
find a link to a good version with the original drawings, I'll
send it to you.
The other danger of the media, yes, including
the Lord of the Rings, etc. is the de-sensitization. A lot was
written and spoken about this issue during the Vietnam era. Much
was said about the fact that everyone was seeing so much carnage
almost every night on the news that no one had any feelings about
it. Michael Moore made similar points in "Bowling for Columbine"
about the fear factor in the news. We just absorb and absorb.
It takes more gore and special effects for horror movie fans
to get a "thrill". The old Frankenstein and Werewolf
movies that Bill Cosby grew up loving and being afraid of are
just silly to most people today, even children.
Speaking of children, as I was waiting in
line for LOTR/ ROTK, there was a family in line with a little
girl of about 6 or 7. I have had several experiences where I
just couldn't BELIEVE that anyone would be so dumb as to expose
their young child to such gore. The first two were pretty bad
and I knew the third was going to be worse, and it was! But no
one cares anymore. They expect young children to accept it -
to "adjust". In fact, this was a major factor in my
breaking up with a man who I thought was to be my third and last
husband. His daughter was 5 at the time and he took her to see,
or rented all kinds of "thrillers" that I told him
were absolutely not appropriate, but he just laughed and insisted
that she could "handle them". "She likes them"
(I've heard this from many parents) One night, he rented "The
Client" (John Grisham) We started to watch it and Almita
was with us. The opening part with the two boys got to me right
away. It was totally creepy. I insisted that he turn it off,
but he wouldn't and he couldn't see why she shouldn't watch it.
I was so angry, I was shaking. It was a really bad scene.
Parents today, and for a while, prefer that
their children "handle it". Young children are not
allowed to be frightened at anything. "Oh, come on, it's
just a movie!" "It isn't real" "Don't be
a baby." I've HEARD parents say these things to their children.
It makes it so much easier not to have to look for a baby-sitter
and not to have to censor one's own viewing or other media consumption
around the children, doesn't it?
Any psychologist will tell you that the young
child's mind cannot distinguish between images they see on TV
and real life. Everything is "real". Virginia got off
lucky. The "Sun" affirmed her right to believe in Santa
Claus. What then, are today's children allowed to believe in?
Sadly,
Christine

Bradford comments;
Contrary to popular belief, the teacher does
talk of diet to parents, when headaches arise, lack of water,
eating only crackers, exchanging all your goodies for some donuts.
Contrary to popular sentiment parents don't always make good
choices and are in need of the same cultural improvements as
the parents are seeking for their children. Dress, movies and
age range, helps stir premature puberty and enlists the children
into the new Jon Bonai Ramsey as their own little egotistical,
projected, sex puppet. Parents see these spiritual beings as
sent to serve their unconscious dysfunctions. These observations
arise many times in the course of teaching and intervention is
a delicate thing.
We, for our part, recognize that a child is
coming into incarnation and that they have been able to negotiate
with the Angelic community and the STar Beings outside the Zodiac,
for a new karmic equation. The mystical math and destiny patterns
that are arranged for the karma to come about out of the stars
staggers the mind. But since less than 1% of any educated population
has even encountered such a pre-incarnation living reality, introducing
richer science of the soul is delicate to say the least.
On the other hand society, divorce; Earthly
Karma and Individual soul failure and dysfunction have introduced
the powerful 'Orphans' call to navigation of the soul by intuition
and soul development. This Orphans gift of the new Christ paradigm
is sometimes forced very early in the child's development. Humans
are having their trusts shattered so that consciousness can arise
and I AM, navigation take hold in the soul.
In girls, their cycles have been coming in
earlier and earlier but the maturity, that was to be offered
by parents, is equally lacking. Therefore promoting a stirring
of premature astral forces, either with dress, movies, books
or pop stars scanty clothing, forces a darkness to descend on
the soul before thinking has had a chance to catch up to it.
In one fourth grade class I took two of the
parents aside because they told their fourth grade boy exactly
in all detail how the city we were living in would be destroyed
in a Hydrogen bomb attack. The boy already had problems in maintaining
wonder over manipulation and was on the verge setting in stone
a real cynical denial of human goodness.
In place of limber wonder the boy was developing
a strong sense of cunning and cynacism. The sense of wonder and
mystery and not merely the facts of how we all shall die sizzled
in our seats as a fatal and final conclusion to, why nothing
really mattered in a life without meaning. Whatever-Whatever-Whatever
was eating his little soul up and sometimes a little reminder
by a teacher helps.
Our historical shift from a mere 250 years
ago, of village life, candles and the starry night to t.v. and
lights lit constantly have altered a light rhythm pattern in
our psyche. This is very different than the depression and the
suicide sydrome of either Alaska or Sweden, where lack of light
depress clinically; the other direction where moth like false
light is lit non stop and sense input, headphones, over heated
superfical chat lines, fast food and unsupervised choices roam
through households without the least understanding of Etheric
and Astral development, are two sides of a highly critical issue.
One cannot say that a girl's cycle coming
in at 7 years old is particularly good if the parental maturity
is nearly equal to their sons and daughters. Michael Jacksons
parents gave little Michael female Hormones to keep his voice
high when he was young. I have compared how Novalis loved a 12
year old girl and so did Jerry lee lewis and I had compared the
time warp difference and the difference in the innocence Novalis
saw that extended to the heights of Sophia and the other direction
where the addiction to the virgin forces, the pre-pubic forces
are the last echo of the spiritual world before lock down. Souls
are entangled, the media and corporate selling all reach down
into Barbie and ken's playhouse to grab their little credit card
in pre-school.
Are we not fully aware of another way of thinking
and how we who think this way are forced into the corner with
the bully brainwashing that serves to create a race of consumer
Animals. Entrained consumer animals who laugh aloud when we speak
of the Spiritual world. This certainly makes me admire the work
of Rudolf Steiner.
Michael Jackson kept his high voice in the
Jackson Five. His parents promoted it and road on the wealth,
but all the while a peculiar addiction to the innocent un fallen
hormonal forces was growing like a monster in Mr. Jackson. Coupled
with this, Karl Rove superimposed and pressed Jackson into service
in order to shield Bush from another one of his his cosmic blunders.
We continue to fail to see the timing of these well staged events.
Are we delerious?
Karl Rove must have a file roleadex of potential
media distractions that are Ahrimanic hunting dogs to get Luciferic
media splashes that a pathetic public devours as if these events
were not staged. Dean rises and Gore promotes Dean and Bush ratings
head for the toilet, time to bring out the distractions. We don't
even need to mention poor Jessica Lynch. Let alone the magic
deck of cards that can be used whenever the little Bush brat
is in some trouble. OOps looky there a Christmas present for
the country.. faith restored, out comes Saddam when we wanted
to find him.
So, on the basis of the above I always hear
this poem in the background of my soul. It was part of a Eurythmy
piece at one time that I spoke for Eurythmy and it taught me
what a powerful tool poetry and the Word can be.
This poem by Louis MacNeice is one of the
most powerful shocks to the flawed system of the uneducated WC
and public school mental midgets who somehow imagine that Incarnating
on Earth, now, since the Angels have withdrawn so that humanity
can begin to fight for the Rights of Humans consciously, has
not caused massive disturbance in the world of human Karma. There
arises from this the 'Orphans' in Christ and a sense of the Indigo
children movement. There arise through this poem our failures
and limited vision and torture of our own star visitors. Adults
with Intelligent Spiritual maturity and cosmopolitan vision are
needed, needed now and needed to sustain the future of humanity.
Louis MacNeice - Prayer before Birth
I am not yet born; O hear me.
Let not the bloodsucking bat or the rat or the stoat or the
club-footed ghoul come near me.
I am not yet born, console me.
I fear that the human race may with tall walls wall me,
with strong drugs dope me, with wise lies lure me,
on black racks rack me, in blood-baths roll me.
I am not yet born; provide me
With water to dandle me, grass to grow for me, trees to talk
to me, sky to sing to me, birds and a white light
in the back of my mind to guide me.
I am not yet born; forgive me
For the sins that in me the world shall commit, my words
when they speak me, my thoughts when they think me,
my treason engendered by traitors beyond me,
my life when they murder by means of my
hands, my death when they live me.
I am not yet born; rehearse me
In the parts I must play and the cues I must take when
old men lecture me, bureaucrats hector me, mountains
frown at me, lovers laugh at me, the white
waves call me to folly and the desert calls
me to doom and the beggar refuses
my gift and my children curse me.
I am not yet born; O hear me,
Let not the man who is beast or who thinks he is God
come near me.
I am not yet born; O fill me
With strength against those who would freeze my
humanity, would dragoon me into a lethal automaton,
would make me a cog in a machine, a thing with
one face, a thing, and against all those
who would dissipate my entirety, would
blow me like thistledown hither and
thither or hither and thither
like water held in the
hands would spill me.
Let them not make me a stone and let them
not spill me.
Otherwise kill me.

Ummm.... not to take away from the issue of
de-sensitization, which can be a real problem, especially where
children are concerned. Nonetheless, I would like to point out
that it was the sight of American bodies returning home night
after night on the news that galvanized opposition to the Vietnam
war among ordinary citizens. BushCo knows this. Why else have
they banned news media from covering the return of the bodies
of American soldiers from Iraq? (Why G.W. himself has declined
to attend even a single funeral of those who have fallen in combat
is another question...)
