I was talking with a friend of mine this afternoon
and he said that among the items in the anti-protest ordinances
they just enacted for this event is that it is illegal for anyone
to be carrying a golf ball if not on a golf course!!

I love it. The challenge, of course, is for
law-abiding citizens to get their golf balls to the golf course
legally, or to get them out of the store when they buy them for
that matter.
I wouldn't know, because I don't play golf.
It reminds me of a law in Maryland I heard
about which makes it illegal to possess prescription or non-prescription
pills that are not in their original containers. One judge remarked
that this makes the pills illegal on route from the bottle to
the mouth.

I think the idea is that they can be used
as lethal weapons! : )
